Formula One racing champion Jenson Button tops this year’s Wizard Jeans list of ‘Britain’s Best-Looking Blokes’, crossing the finishing line just ahead of actor Richard Armitage and last year’s winner Colin Firth. Fellow Grand Prix champion Lewis Hamilton finished in 14th position.

The list, produced annually by Wizard, placed Clive Owen in 4th position, with David Beckham 5th, followed by Jude Law, Daniel Crag, Peter Andre and Alastair Cook. Prince Harry took the 10th position in this year’s chart.

The ten formed part of an original list of thirty celebrity names compiled by Wizard Jeans during the past twelve months, based on a review of on-going media monitoring and promotional images. The random list was then put to a public vote of just over 1,500 women to establish their order of preference. Wizard also produces the annual ‘Most Beautiful Women’ list, last published in May this year.

“A handsome profile is undoubtedly heaven-sent but looking good is usually a much more down-to-earth process for men,” says Sally Allen of Wizard Jeans. “It’s concerned with grooming and making the most of your natural attractiveness. Jenson Button has a natural charm which placed him in pole position in this year’s good looks Grand Prix.”

The second half of the Top Twenty line up included John Barrowman, Henry Cavill, Russell Brand, Lewis Hamilton, Bradley Walsh, Gerard Butler, Zac Goldsmith. James Cracknell, Hugh Grant and, at number 20, Orlando Bloom.

“Some men fail to make the best of themselves, opting for comfort rather than style,” says Sally Allen. “The old adage that clothes maketh the man was never more true – especially in jeans where we so often see the highly unflattering baggy bum and dropped crotch worn by men who should know better.
